Chris Mullins Company, LLC, of Kingsport, Tennessee is a specialty contractor installing acoustical ceilings and insulation in both the commercial and residential sector.  The history of the company dates back to 1949 when the founder D.A. Mullins started an insulation and home improvement company.  Approximately ten years later, he expanded into the acoustical ceiling business. In 1987, a partnership was formed with his son, Chris Mullins, to begin Mullins Company and in 1997 the official name was changed to Chris Mullins Co., LLC.

    The company has experienced steady growth during the past 15 years.  The success of the business is due in large part to the experience, professionalism and dedication of the field workers.  Seven lead ceiling mechanics have more than 165 years of combined experience installing acoustical ceilings and wall panels. The trained insulation installers are certified through the Owens Corning Certified Energy Professional program.  Chris Mullins Company has an average of 20 full time employees serving the Tri-cities and surrounding region. We hold a Class B sub-contractors license for Tennessee and Virginia.
